Initial deployment, Plan is to Iron Flesh the cats, and run them up the left flank, into the trees (Which I have managed to miss from both pictures, trust me there is a good forest mid table at the bottom that you will see in later pics) for Def 18, Naaresh and shield guard will move up behind house and then move out behind the beasts, Beasts will advance under cover of Force Aura and Forest to bump their defence a bit.

Turn 1

I go first and follow the plan mentioned above, Ian advances and everything this side of the riflemen (except the cyclone) fire at the Def 18 cats and miss completely, The rifleman land some decent damage on the bronzeback, as does the gun mage and Alten Ashly (I hate him so much). Sloan is too far forward with no focus on her, so he puts down some covering fire templates.

Turn 2

I forgot to take a picture before moving the cats, the cats consider running through the templates, and charging Sloan, but I don’t quite have the reach to pounce behind her, and could probably get one CMA charge which won’t kill her, and will probably lead to dead cats. So instead I charge and eat the gun mage, and reposition behind the barn to have fun next turn.

Beasthandlers move and heal the Bronzeback, Cannoneer moves up and removes a sizable lump of the clumped riflemen. I then realise that the beasthandlers are now blocking in the Krea, so I advance the Sentry, Naaresh charges and kills the Beasthandler, puts up force aura and feats. Gladiator Rushes himself and the Krea and advances. Beasthandlers remove fury, Krea advances and puts up Force Aura to cover herself and the Bronzeback,and the Archidon flies forward to threated Alten and the Gun Mage. Naaresh has three transfers, a Cannoneer and a sentry in front of him so is feeling pretty safe.

Cygnars turn, Gun Mage captain suprises me by shooting the cannoneer and making him see through… Lots of things shoot Naaresh, he takes some damage which bumps his armour, and all transfers and the shield guard are used leaving him on 5 health….

The Cyclone puts down more covering fire and stands in the way so the cats can’t eat Sloan, as does Rynhold

Turn 3

I think I have an assasination shot here, but need to get things right. Cats charge through the covering fire and eat the Cyclone, and misses Rynhold by 1,Archidon eats Alten Ashly and sprints behind the gun mage captain. Enraged Titan Gladiator rushes and kills the sniper jack, Sentry ties up light and heavy jack. Naaresh then Cyclones out, and charges Sloane and misses by One (Rookie mistake, I should have knocked her down first). Naaresh camps 3 fury because he thinks he’s going to need it. Bronzeback charges the heavy jack, casts Puissance and hits him twice, then uses Chain Attack to throw him at Sloane, misses by one, and ends up deviating to his feet. So he continues beating him back, then knocks the light to the side, then advances in on the last light. None are destroyed, but all have some degree of brokenness (heavy has no arms).

Ian conceeds, the light would have had to walk away from bronzeback to get any attacks in, Sloane can’t get through 3 transfers, pretty much everything is dead, or engaged and it was getting late.
